Want to visit us? Here is a little of what you can expect...
We are an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) congregation in Watertown, SD. Our congregation is made up of farmers, laborers, business people, law enforcement, healthcare workers, children, students, and retirees. On Sunday mornings we get together to be led in Worship by our Interim Pastor, Carlene Rhody. Some of us dress up, and some of us dress down. We bring our children into worship with us (and typically stop to grab a busy bag for them from an usher). We strike up conversations before service starts. We also sit in silence if that's how we feel.
We pray. We sing. We ask for forgiveness.
We are individuals with our own need for Jesus.
There is no right or wrong person to come worship with us.
We are a group of imperfect individuals coming together to make a congregation and worship our Lord Jesus Christ.
Above all, we love the Lord and love each other. We aim to worship Jesus not only during our weekly service, but also throughout the week in how we live our lives. Come see where God's Grace is Experienced Daily.
